Rosemary
Laureate Adrn Rosemary v Far Field
DOB: December 11, 2007
Sire: Am. Can. Ch. Mystic Elance Princequillo, JC (Specialty Best of Winners & multi-breed winner over group-winning special competition)
Dam: Am. Ch. Laureate Adrienne Flying First Class, JC (Specialty Best in Sweeps & Specialty Reserve Winners)
Breeders: Monica Barry (Laureate) & Jan Leikam (Adrienne)
Co-owner: Suzanne Danna-Harlan
We were delighted to acquire this pretty Archie daughter (and Laci neice) courtesy of Laura Van Diest, owner/breeder of her sire.
Unfortunately, shallow roots (we think) excluded this lovely girl from a show career.
Rosie has a buoyant personality, elegant head piece, deep hocks, and beautiful flowing outline. At 8 months, she competed successfully in 4 regular and 3 sweeps classes on the Midwest Borzoi Club Specialty weekend. At 6 months, she took a Match Hound Group 2 and Reserve Winner's Bitch under Dana Cline at her very first show. (kennel mate Luna went BOB.)
Rosie is named in tribute to and remembrance of Rosemary Gregg whose beautiful Crescent Borzoi are behind all 4 lines of her pedigree.
Due to the loss of teeth, I took it upon myself to have Rosie spayed and found her a wonderful pet home. Regrettably, no show quality replacement was offered to me.
